The Quiet Mind Brain Training and Therapy Center is located in Emeryville, CA. Emeryville is in the San Francisco Bay Area and is centrally located between the East Bay (Berkeley and Oakland) and San Francisco. Our center is in a beautiful office suite, which includes both brain training rooms and a psychotherapy office.

The Quiet Mind is owned and operated by John Lumiere-Wins, MA. John is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and a mental health counselor. He provides both Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ and somatic therapy. This combination has shown to be very effective with his clients. One of John’s specializations is trauma. Somatic Experiencing is a highly effective trauma resolution method. Many of his clients who come for brain training have a history of some kind of trauma which has caused brain imbalances. They have found it very helpful to work with someone skilled with working with this.

Over the last two and a half years, John’s work with Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ has also been helping people with anger management, PTSD, addictions (alcohol, smoking, prescription drugs and recreational drugs including heroin, methamphetamines and pot), enhancing sports performance, attention problems, sleep disturbance, anxiety and depression.
